Mini Butterfly Vases

$220.00

When I made my Butterfly Collection, I had a hard time settling on just four butterflies to work with. Even after I chose these four species and created the collection, I wasn’t ready to let go of the colors I had been working with. Just for fun and to see if it could be done, I created miniature versions of each of the four Butterfly Vases:

  • Monarch - A very familiar species with vivid orange and black colors. The vase silhouette is like two globes or bubbles joined together in the middle.

  • Tiger Swallowtail - Sunshine yellow dusted with blue and orange spots. The vase is in the shape of a pyramid cut off before the point.

  • Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing - Teal blue veined with black stripes. The vase silhouette is a soft curve out and back in.

  • Purple Emperor - Iridescent purple-blue accented with creamy white spots. This vase is the most dramatic of the four, sweeping in and out again before coming in to the rim.

All four vases are about 1” tall and less than 1” across at the widest. Each of them is a one of a kind work of art.
