Lily Bush Box
For as long as I’ve been working with beads I’ve been thinking about ways to turn them into flowers. Learning different stitches and how to combine stitches has been a game changer: this box came out of that research.
This sculpture is indeed a box! The upper part of the “pot” is removable, revealing a small container measuring about 2.5” across at the widest, with the lip of the box a bit less than that. This piece is one of a kind.
“Lily Bush”, 2023. 3.5” x 2.5” x 2.5”. Seed beads, monofilament.
