Large Spiked Earrings
I first thought of this shape of earring before I was even sure how to make it happen. My bits bucket had several false starts in it before I finally figured out the technique, which I immediately used to make myself a pair. Later, I made a few smaller pairs that I have available here.
These earrings were made as part of two separate collections: The “Monarch” and “Birdwing” varieties were both part of the more recent Butterfly Collection, while the “Bronze” pair were part of the Soft Collection from back in February of 2024.
These earrings are surprisingly lightweight, at less than 1oz, and sturdy. They will not be damaged by a fall. They measure about 2” across at the widest. The “Monarch” earrings come with silver plated fishhooks, the “Bronze” with gold plated fishhooks, and the “Birdwings” come with gold plated leverbacks. All can be exchanged with other options for an extra fee.
