Bubbles of colored glass and pearls rise from the sea floor, bending and twisting in strange architecture. “Sea Palace” is supported by a wire frame and spine through the tallest central tower, but most of the structure is left free to bend with the tides. This sculpture can be molded to a large extent, and its shape will warp with time and gravity in between repositionings.
“Sea Palace”, 2023. Seed beads, glass pearls, monofilament, copper wire. 6” h, 8” w, 9” d.
