Black holes are fascinating. As a visual artist, perhaps the most interesting part of a black hole is that it can only be perceived by humans by observing the space around it. The event horizon of a black hole is the boundary beyond which no light can cross. This sculpture is an exploration of a phenomenon defined entirely by negative space.
